Megan is a firm believer in the American Dream of homeownership. While she appreciates the ease of movement and reduced responsibilities that come with renting, she believes there is a true greatness in owning property and being able to create a space uniquely your own. For her, this space must include room for a garden as well as ample space for fetch with her dog, Meeko. Megan has spent several years of her professional career involved in real estate in a number of different roles. She has worked in property management, asset management, and sales.
Megan became familiar with the Richmond area at a young age. Growing up in a small town in southwest Virginia, Megan used to travel to Richmond annually for dance competitions. She always felt elated to be in the “big city” to shop and try new restaurants. As luck would have it, after graduating from Virginia Tech, a property management job brought her to Richmond. Little by little, the city got smaller as she continued to explore and grow more familiar with it. Six years later, RVA is no longer what she thinks of as “the big city” but rather what she thinks of as “home.”
No matter how much has changed over the last 100 years, Megan is confident that many people still believe in the American Dream of homeownership. Her goal is to use her real estate expertise to help others find the perfect property and turn that American “Dream” into a reality.
