We hope everyone is doing well, staying safe, and keeping busy while in quarantine. We recently shared a story of one of our listings that hit the market on Monday and was under contract by Tuesday afternoon. The home was sold via FaceTime and for 4.5% over the ask price. Well… we have another one to talk about!
We love sharing these stories with you because not only are we so incredibly happy for our clients, but we want you to know that even during this abnormal time, the real estate market is moving forward. Yes, inventory is still tight, but we find this kind of news encouraging and we want to spread the good word!
Now… on to the story of 1828 Winder Street:
This adorable home can be found in the Randolph neighborhood located near beautiful Maymont Park. When you walk through the property, it’s easy to see that it was restored with so much love and care by the current owners. This sweet house is just over 1,100 square feet, and is bright, airy and open. (Click here for the full album of photos and click here for the video tour!)
After listing agent, Anne Soffee, made the home active on the market on March 19th, the photos spread around social media, the calls came pouring in, and showing after showing was made. In total, Anne said she had around 80 showings (yes, you read that right… 80 showings!) scheduled over the weekend, all while maintaining the current social distancing standards. Anne then presented 19 offers to her clients Monday morning and the house was under contract that evening for well over the ask price.
We want to offer a huge congratulations to Anne’s clients and the buyers of 1828 Winder Street. We wish all of you the best of luck in your future homes!
Anne Soffee, Realtor®
