August is always an interesting month for the real estate market. Generally it is a slower month for sales but we did see a higher number of properties going live in the market to try to stir up the last quarter a bit. Currently there are 23 active properties in the Fan District with most of those being in the higher price points. There were only 11 properties that closed in August and only 6 homes are currently under contract. With interest rates still at an all time low, we could see home prices decrease to entice more buyers to come out. Take a look below at our statistics to get a better idea.
